Swayam Foundation aims to achieve sustainable development of the disadvantaged communities by ensuring socio-economic stability of the families through education and healthy life styles.

In addition, we aspire to endeavor for a cleaner and healthier environment by promoting cleanliness, tree plantation, and putting in place efficient waste disposal mechanisms.

“I was exposed since 2008 to the slums in Gulbai Tekra of Ahmedabad City because I lived in a nearby housing scheme for senior civil servants. This knowledge, coupled with my background in Economics and Management, catalyzed my interest in doing something in an organized fashion to bring better future to the marginalized and deprived sections of the society through strengthening education and livelihood projects.”
